WHAT WE DO
The National Institute of Intellectual Disability Studies is the first one-stop training and development marketplace in Ireland delivered using proven Person Centred approaches. Our suite of Workforce Development Tools were developed alongside national and international experts including ex-HIQA inspector, TIZARD Centre UK, and North Dakota Centre for Persons with Disabilities.
Our tools are designed to support compliance with Irish legislation, Irish Continuing Professional Development requirements and HIQA regulations. Some of our programmes have also been accredited by BILD (British Institute of Intellectual Disabilities).
