ACCREDITED TRAINING

With our tutor lead training we provide a Person Centred Approaches and Practices and a learning environment which addresses learners’ attitudes; beliefs and behaviour and helps them connect action and reflection in a continuous cycle. There are many significant developments in the disability sector in Ireland, specifically the HIQA standards and the Law Reform Commission reports, Moving On and New Directions, which will lead to radical changes and expectations of services delivered to people with intellectual disabilities.

Our bespoke, accredited programmes are designed to prepare and equip organisations and staff for these challenges.

Continuing Professional Development

Continuing Professional Development

According to CORU, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is one of the key mechanisms used to foster high standards of professional conduct and professional education, training and competence among registrants. While NMBI state that it is essential for each nurse and midwife to engage in CPD, following registration, in order to acquire new knowledge and competence to practise effectively in an ever-changing health care environment.

Continuing professional and personal developments are required in order to maintain and enhance professional standards and to provide quality, competent and safe patient care. Our training programmes are designed to provoke thought, consider practical’s implications and how new knowledge can be reflected upon and utilised in Practice.
