The DoGAP© tool is a self- assessment tool which allows organisations to become their own “inspector” using the process of triangulation to gather their evidence. The focus of the self - assessment allows organisations to replicate the HIQA inspections by guiding:

- Observing practices
- Reviewing documentation
- Triangulate their findings.

Set against HIQA standards, regulations and themes designed by a former senior HIQA inspector, the HIQA Self-Inspection DoGAP© is a Real-Time Inspection Digital Management tool for tracking and managing inspections which allows single or multi-centre organisations enable a process of continuous improvement.
